Monsters Vs. Aliens: A Review

(9/10) Just saw this last night and it was than I bargained for. I haven't laughed so hard at a cartoon in awhile. I was actually hyped up to check this out ever since I first saw the trailer. This movie is a play on 99.9% of Alien/monster movies that were made pre-1960 (Godzilla included). I was pleasantly entertained and felt that the content wasn't necessarily gear towards children. Much of the inside jokes and antics were geared obviously to their parents. Each of the "Monsters" were great and hilarious to say the least. Goofy and ridiculous characters that left me wanting more. There's quite a few liberal subliminal messages in the movie but I'll leave that alone. Its only a movie! LOVE IT! Would see it again!

I LOVE YOU, MAN!: A Review

(8/10 )The first comedy good comedy to come out this year is I LOVE YOU, Man. You've seen the previews and I must say that this flick lives up to its hype. Paul Rudd has grown on me since his "Clueless" days. He has yet to age.  The dynamic of Jason Segel and Rudd is genuis because you truly feel as if they've been friends forever. My fave scene is the "Slapa-De-Bass" scene. Must see in THEATRES!

Sunshine Cleaning: A review

(8/10) -  This flix is a must see, I enjoyed all of the performances including Amy Adams (I was never a fan and im still skeptical). An original plotline of cleaning ladies dwelving into the world of crime scene cleanup, at the same time, trying hard to clean up their own dirty lives. I am always intrigued with any movie with Alan Arkin. I was surprised to see Clifton Collins Jr. in this movie (More recognizable from "CAPOTE" and even more notably as the gangster from "187"). He's been getting more work that allows him to break out of his LATINO stereotypes. CHECCCK IT OUT!

Final Fantasy VII: An Ebay scam....

So I've been wandering on Ebay looking for stuff to sell or buy and I stumbled upon some Final Fantasy merchandise. When i was in high school I was a huge final fantasy 7 fan. I was never into video games as much as I was into this game. It was the 1st RPG (Role Playing Game) that I have ever played.

I guess this game is really that popular these days cause I find old PS1 copies going for as high as $100+!!!!!! I would not pay that much for any game. Maybe its because i've been the most frugal I've ever been in my whole life. Luckily I have the game on PC! w00t w00t!
