(7/10) Just saw this last night. Maybe it's just me but I felt there wasn't as much marketing or exposure for this movie. Interesting enough, this is loosely based on true events by LA Time reporter,
Steve Lopez. The movie captures the imagination of Nathniel Ayers, played by none other than
Jamie Foxx. Ayers, who's homeless but displays a unique talent of playing the violin grabs the attention of Lopez, played by
Robert Downey Jr.. Lopez goes through great lengths to dig into his past and to reunite him with his former love, the Cello. The score and orchestra scenes are very powerful and can leave one with the chills. Worth checking out in theaters.
